Igneous Rock Art

Although indigenous peoples clearly placed petroglyphs and pictographs on the igneous rocks of the Mojave lava fields in sites that held special practical and symbolic importance for them, I have moved my photographs of this rock art to a separate section without this context to better protect these fragile and threatened works.
